To me it says we had better keep moving (actively going and doing things) or we will grow like that, just a regular stick in the mud! :-)<BR/>Thanks for your always encouraging me. I bought her from Pier One a few years ago and she has travelled back and forth across the USA with me. That painting is from a photo of her on my front porch when I lived in Maine. She has lived in Utah twice, Maine once, and now, Arizona where she stands on my back patio holding up a humingbird feeder. I still love to look at her.Kathie Brownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10377224759599266209noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3730846671393946712.post-54411114512549452642008-10-22T09:46:00.000-04:002008-10-22T09:46:00.000-04:00how lovely, it goes so well with the painting, ver...how lovely, it goes so well with the painting, very profound and makes me think how art can affect someone or how we go through life without ever noticing how fast or how slow we are movinglissahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00706027242022517570noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3730846671393946712.post-77348882978761331282008-10-22T06:36:00.000-04:002008-10-22T06:36:00.000-04:00I love all the opposites in your poem.
